A challenging site in The Town of Seaside, Marcoola, strict covenant regulations and a requirement to maximize useable space necessitated a design incorporating a number of interesting features. Despite the lot facing north this aspect was designated for garaging and surrounded by apartments. The south aspect abutting parklands was the obvious choice for living areas whilst he lack of northerly light was remedied by the addition of an open light well in the center of the building with indoor garden on the ground floor and feature glass windows on the upper level. Large balconies to the south adjoin living areas allowing a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living. Both units feature 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and generous kitchen dining and living areas. Unit 2 incorporates a retreat over the garage allowing for excellent separation of entertaining and living zones.
