South Water House
Everyone loves designing north to water (none of those cold south easterlies in winter or blazing westerly sun in summer). The reality is however that many waterfront lots face south. Some have great views and are often cheaper than their north facing cousins. The challenge for the designer is to capitalise on these views and at the same time provide a protected outdoor lifestyle.
This single level south facing waterfront home was designed with those factors in mind. Being single level it appeals those wanting to avoid stairs but still enjoy a spacious home with all living areas and master bedroom having water aspects.
Four bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 or 3 cars and an office / library / TV room are included. Most important however is the location of the pool and outdoor entertaining which are protected from the colder winter southerlies and provide a northern aspect for the living areas.
South to water has never been better.
