Stanthorpe Workers Cottage

Every year Stanthorpe hosts a multitude of workers who attend to pick the annual harvest of grapes, stone-fruit and apples . These workers, often Pacific Islanders, need appropriate housing. Shore Design has undertaken a number of these projects. Houses need to be cost-effective whilst still providing an environment for harmonious family living. This particular brief was for a large house to accommodate the extended families that often call the area home for the picking season. It is currently undergoing a DA with a view to construction later this year.
